Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through Zolani Capetown.
By placing an order, you accept these terms and our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refund Policy. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we process personal information.
Nothing in these policies limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law, including South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (“CPA”) and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (“ECTA”), where applicable.

2. Product Information
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, prices, images and availability accurate.
Screen colours and manually measured sizes may vary slightly. This does not affect your rights if a product materially differs from its description.
If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution. We will not increase an accepted order’s price or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
3. Orders and Payment
Please check your contact details, delivery address, sizes and colours before completing checkout.
Your order confirmation acknowledges receipt. Acceptance takes place when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly accept your order earlier.
We may decline an order before acceptance for reasonable reasons, such as unavailable stock, unsuccessful payment, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud. Cancellation after acceptance remains subject to applicable law.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund the relevant payment within the applicable legal deadline.
Prices, currency, available payment methods and charges collected by us are shown before purchase. You must be authorised to use your selected payment method.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Processing times, estimated delivery times, dispatch countries and shipping charges are stated in our Shipping & Delivery Policy and before checkout.
Orders may be fulfilled by international partners. Delivery estimates may be affected by customs, carrier schedules, public holidays or other disruptions.
We remain responsible for our obligations as the seller. Delays do not remove any applicable cancellation or refund rights.
5. Delivery Details
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. If you notice an error, email contact@zolani-capetown.com immediately.
We will try to update your details before dispatch, but changes cannot always be made once shipment arrangements are underway.
If an address error causes a failed delivery, we will investigate and explain any reasonable, lawful redelivery costs before proceeding.
6. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns & Refund Policy explains our additional 30-day change-of-mind return policy, return conditions, costs and refund process.
Any overseas return requirement must be disclosed before purchase.
Where ECTA’s cooling-off rules apply, eligible online goods purchases may be cancelled without a reason or penalty within seven days after receipt, subject to statutory exceptions. Only direct return costs may be charged, and payments must be refunded within 30 days of cancellation.
Where CPA section 56 applies, qualifying defective goods may be returned within six months after delivery at our risk and expense, with repair, replacement or refund at your direction as provided by law.
Our voluntary return conditions do not override statutory rights.
7. Cancellations
To request cancellation before dispatch, email contact@zolani-capetown.com as soon as possible.
If shipment cannot be stopped, we will explain the return options. Processing or dispatch does not remove an applicable statutory cancellation right.
8. Delivery Issues and Payment Disputes
If your parcel is delayed, missing or marked as delivered but not received, contact us with your order and tracking numbers.
We will investigate with the carrier. A tracking status alone does not determine responsibility.
We encourage you to contact us for help, but this does not restrict your right to approach your bank, payment provider, a consumer body or a court.
9. Customs and Import Charges
International shipments may attract import duties, import VAT or clearance fees.
Our import-charge arrangement: [INSERT WHETHER CHARGES ARE INCLUDED OR PAYABLE SEPARATELY].
Any charges payable separately must be clearly explained before purchase. Nothing transfers a legal obligation to the customer that must remain with us.
10. Promotions
Promotions may have expiry dates, minimum purchase requirements or product exclusions, which will be disclosed with the offer.
Discount codes should be entered before completing checkout.
We may change future promotions, but will not retrospectively remove a valid discount from an accepted order.
11. Website Content and Use
Website content belongs to Zolani Capetown or the relevant rights holders, as applicable. Commercial reuse requires permission unless otherwise allowed by law.
You must not use our website for fraud, unlawful activity or unauthorised access. We may take reasonable measures against misuse without removing your rights concerning existing orders.
12. Liability
We remain responsible for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, statutory product liability or any other liability that applicable law prohibits us from excluding.
13. Complaints
Email contact@zolani-capetown.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
You may also approach an appropriate consumer dispute-resolution body, the National Consumer Commission or a competent court.
14. Changes and Governing Law
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms presented when you placed your order continue to apply to that order, unless otherwise required by law.
These terms are governed by South African law, without excluding any other mandatory consumer protections that apply.
